As someone that is very picky about their coffee (body, aroma, acidity, balance, etc.) I usually prefer my home espresso to most coffeehouses. My experience with Comunidad Specialty Coffee, was absolutely amazing! This is some of the best coffees that I have had in a very long time. The quisqueyita was lightly sweet with cinnamon and subtle undertones of citrus that did not overpower the coffee flavor. I was so impressed that, after a discussion with the nice people at the counter, I decided to order a flat white to experience a drink that focused on more of the coffee's personality. It was easily the best flat white I have had at a coffeehouse. Very well done! The coffee crafted here is in the style of traditional Italian espresso culture where nuanced, rich flavors are prioritized over large volumes. The prices are very reasonable, the service was top-notch. The atmosphere was vibrant, yet relaxing. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Well done!

The space is absolutely stunning—bright, thoughtfully designed, and somewhere you immediately want to settle in with a coffee for a while. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between calm and lively. The coffee was outstanding. The espresso was beautifully dialed in, bringing out a balanced sweetness and clarity without any bitterness. I also ordered an iced matcha, and it was just as impressive—smooth, vibrant, and clearly made with high-quality matcha rather than being drowned in milk or sweetener. It’s rare to find a café that nails both the drinks and the overall experience, but Comunidad does exactly that. I’ll happily make this a regular stop whenever I’m in Austin.

Not your regular overly hyped coffee shop that turns out to be yet another disappointment. This place offers the right vibes whether you want feel just like home with comfy seating, perfect lighting & good music or swing by with your laptop to disconnect and work. That’s just the atmosphere now when it comes to what they offer I’ll happily stand behind this decision…10/10 for every coffee & cold pressed juice listed on the menu.The coffee beans used comes from the region of Jarabacoa, Dominican Republic, showcasing the latin culture in every sip! They have two signature drinks and are always cooking up something new whether it’s a coffee drink or matcha, yes, you read that correctly! MATCHA!! Can’t wait to visit you guys again, thank you for the welcoming environment ❤️

This coffee shop has good coffee I have been a few times already trying different items. The lattes have been way too sweet everytime and they are very small. The last drink I ordered was an iced latte with flavor. It barely tasted like coffee and was almost undrinkable. The drinks are very expensive for the size. Overall I would only be able to change my rating if there were a change in my experience. I like the concept but was let down each time visiting.

Comunidad is so special so delicious and inviting! Andy and his family are great serving up delicious coffee, juices and pastries! It’s Latin owned and the vibes and music are always perfect. The iced papatolo has my heart and I’m there every day for it. Also LOVE that they close at 4 because I’m a late risers. CHECK THEM OUT IF YOU LOVE YOURSELF.
